I've been working in mental health for over 12 years and have extensive experience conducting mental health evaluations and crisis intervention. Preferred therapy modalities include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I've worked with clients struggling with all types of issues including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, work life balance and managing stress. I have been practicing mindfulness meditation for the past 5 years and am currently furthering my training in the Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach led Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certificate Program. As co-owner of Compassionate Mind Meditation, I have been leading meditation classes for this past year with a focus on Insight Meditation. I work with students on deepening their sense of awareness, improving concentration, and increasing self-compassion.
