Dionne Jimenez, LCPC

Therapist and Co-Owner

Dionne has a significant amount of professional training in trauma treatment, attachment disorders, and individual and group therapy. She has previously worked as a clinician at HopeWorks of Howard County (formerly Domestic Violence Center).  Dionne enjoys working with all age groups, however at this time she specializes in individual and group treatment with adults.  She earned her LCPC license in early 2014 after receiving her Master of Professional Counseling in 2011.
   
Dionne enjoys working with individuals with diverse spiritual and cultural backgrounds. Dionne’s holistic client-centered style often draws from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Existential Therapy, and the empowerment model. She believes in a strength-based approach and she encourages her clients to explore and enhance their own natural resiliency in treatment. Dionne is invested in creating a nurturing and trusting environment in treatment in order for healing to take place, and she believes that an empathic and collaborative therapeutic relationship is the foundation for therapeutic growth. Her professional strengths include: relationship issues, trauma, attachment, anxiety and depression, family systems, mind-body interventions, wellness, grief, parenting, self-esteem, and women’s issues​
