Roshelle Kades, LCSW
(starting August 2025)

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker with over five years of experience providing support to people in community-based and higher education settings as a social worker and case manager, and a year providing therapy in a community-based mental health clinic. I see each client as a unique individual on a journey toward increased self-awareness and fulfillment, and I am here to help you on that journey.

 

My approach is relational, person-centered, and strengths-based, and is driven by compassion and curiosity. I will work with you to identify your goals and strengths, and to foster new strategies, insights, and tools, so that you can build your support network and tap into your inner abilities to navigate life's challenges. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and practice with cultural humility and a trauma-informed lens.

 

I graduated from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2020. I have particular experience working with college students, young adults, and other people navigating life transitions.
I practice therapy under the supervision of Lisa Carrier, LCSW-C.
