Circle of Security is an internationally recognized parenting course based on decades of parent-child attachment research. It is suitable for parents of children of all ages, but particularly focuses on infants and young children (0-5). The sessions are practical skills-based, using video clips, discussion and handouts to explore children’s emotional needs and build parent’s ability to respond sensitively to those needs.

Who should attend: Any parent/guardian who is interested in becoming a more attuned parent and who wants to feel confident and competent in knowing their child’s emotions and how to respond.

You will learn to:

- Understand your child’s emotional needs

- Support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions

- Enhance the development of your child's self esteem

- Build a loving and secure relationship with your child

SOME of the many benefits from creating secure attachment (what is taught in this course) kids will be able to:

- Enjoy more happiness with their parents

- Feel less anger at their parents

- Have higher self esteem

- Solve problems on their own

- Get along better with friends

- Know how to be kind to those around them
