I provide a warm, accepting, and empathetic space for you to process whatever has brought you to therapy. I have 8+ years of experience providing individual and group therapy in a community mental health setting, working with substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. You can expect a space for you to talk about what brings you to therapy, thoughtful discussion about your values and goals, and concrete coping skills to help you feel more at peace and in control.  I utilize a variety of techniques in my work, including acceptance, mindfulness, EMDR, and CBT(noticing and changing thinking patterns that contribute to difficult emotions). I approach concerns about substance use or other addictive behaviors with a harm reduction lens, and will celebrate any positive change, not just total abstinence. I will help you pursue your goals with patience and kindness. I believe in honoring your own internal wisdom and experience to guide our work together.
