Michael Fleg, LGPC

I primarily work with couples and families to help them understand, navigate, and take action to improve relationship dynamics. My approach is informed by the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), which combines aspects of neuroscience, attachment theory, gestalt, psychodrama, and more.

I love the work I do with couples, which primarily involves strengthening and empowering the couple's system, allowing them to proactively move towards their shared purpose. With a spirit of collaboration and interdependence, you and your partner can find a new way to navigate the world and reconnect with yourselves and others.

The mind-body connection is important in my therapeutic approach, which incorporates diet, movement, sleep, yoga, mindfulness, journaling, creativity, and other potential areas for us to collaboratively explore.

Coming from a family with strong artistic influences, I started my professional life as a filmmaker before transitioning into teaching and now therapy. My experiences in Native American communities and living in Latin America, have expanded my perspective and taught me about the value of community and rich traditions. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, where your input and intuition are important to the therapy process. I look forward to getting to know you and collaborating together.
